William James Hardy is one of the founding partners of Hardy Marble LLP.  Mr. Hardy has dedicated his entire legal career to representing the interests of injured workers, families, not-for-profit charitable corporations and religious organizations.  He actively engages in all aspects of general practice litigation and has successfully handled cases resulting in favorable outcomes for hundreds of clients.

 

Mr. Hardy practices in all of the courts of New York State, including town, city and county courts in all eight counties of Western New York. He regularly litigates cases in New York State Supreme Court, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court and in the Federal Court in the Western District of New York.

 

Mr. Hardy concentrates his practice in the areas of corporations, tax matters, trademarks, immigration, workers’ compensation, civil litigation, criminal defense, DWI defense, real estate, estates, personal injury, social security disability and matrimonial and family law.

 

Mr. Hardy graduated magna cum laude from Hiram College, cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Law, and has a M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. 

 

Mr. Hardy is also an ordained Presbyterian minister and has served as the pastor of churches in Central New York and Western New York for more than twenty years.  In addition, he also serves on several not-for-profit boards of directors, including the Kenan Center Board of Governors, the Thomas C. Porteus, Jr. Charitable Foundation, Inc., Happy Times Preschool and Childcare Center, Inc. and the Lockport Meals on Wheels.  Mr. Hardy is also a member of the Lockport Rotary Club.

 

Mr. Hardy resides in the Town of Lockport with his wife, Renee and they have four children.
